Single Video Interactive Mode ​

When you select a single video for translation, the software enters interactive mode. After each processing stage, an edit window pops up, allowing you to proofread and fine-tune before proceeding.

If you select multiple videos, they are processed in parallel without pausing.

To disable the edit window, go to Tools/Options(T) → More Settings... and set Single video interactive mode pause time to 0.

Stage 1: After Speech Recognition — Subtitle Edit Window ​

You can correct the recognized text, such as fixing typos.

Advanced: To edit subtitles with a third-party tool, click Open subtitle folder, find the source-language SRT file (e.g., zh-cn.srt for Chinese), edit it externally, save, then click Discard and continue in the software. The modified file will be used going forward.

Stage 2: After Translation — Voice Role Assignment Window ​

You can assign a dubbing voice to each speaker for multi-role dubbing, or assign a voice to each individual subtitle line.

Advanced: Same as above — find the translated SRT file (e.g., en.srt) in the subtitle folder, edit externally, save, then click Discard and continue.

Stage 3: After Dubbing — Dubbing Review Panel ​

After dubbing completes and before final video compositing, a review panel shows each subtitle line alongside its corresponding audio.

This panel is for final proofreading, timeline adjustment, and audio preview.

Instructions ​

Step 1: Stop the Countdown ​

When the panel opens, a yellow countdown button appears at the top (e.g., "Click here to stop countdown (85)").

  • Click this button immediately to pause the countdown and give yourself time to review.

Step 2: Understand the Layout ​

Each row represents one subtitle, split into upper and lower sections:

A. Upper Section: Timing and Status Controls

From left to right:

  1. Index [1]: The subtitle number
  2. Start time adjustment [-] 0.1 [+]:
    • Click - to start this line earlier (0.1 sec per click)
    • Click + to start this line later (0.1 sec per click)
    • Note: Start time cannot be earlier than the previous line's end time
  3. Time display: start time → end time (duration)
  4. End time adjustment [-] 0.1 [+]:
    • Click - to end this line earlier (0.1 sec per click)
    • Click + to end this line later (0.1 sec per click)
    • Note: End time cannot be later than the next line's start time
  5. Status message:
    • Dubbing x.xxs <exceeds> x.xxs: Dubbing is too long for the subtitle duration. The program will speed up playback. To avoid this, extend the end time or shorten the text, then re-dub.
    • Dubbing x.xxs <shorter> x.xxs: Dubbing is shorter than the subtitle duration — normal, there will be a brief silence.
  6. Action buttons:
    • Re-dub: After editing text, you must click this to regenerate the audio.
    • Preview: Play the audio for this subtitle to check pronunciation and intonation.

B. Lower Section: Text Edit Box

  • Double-click the dark text box to edit its content
  • Fix typos, shorten the text (if dubbing is too long), or add detail
  • Delete dubbing: Clear the text box entirely

Common Scenarios ​

Scenario 1: Dubbing reads too fast / rushed ​

Symptom: Status shows <exceeds>.

Fix:

  1. Click the + on the right to extend the end time, giving more room
  2. Or edit the text below to remove a few words, then click Re-dub

Scenario 2: Too much gap between two subtitle lines ​

Fix:

  1. Click + on the previous line to push its end time later
  2. Click - on the next line to make it start earlier

Scenario 3: Dubbing reads wrong, or you want to change the script ​

Fix:

  1. Edit the text in the box below
  2. Click Re-dub
  3. Wait a few seconds, then click Preview to confirm

Scenario 4: Clicking +/- has no effect or shows red ​

Cause: The timing adjustment "collides" — you tried to extend the end time, but the next subtitle starts immediately with no gap.

Fix: Adjust the next subtitle's start time first (click + to push it later), then come back to adjust this one.

Finishing Up ​

After reviewing all subtitles:

  • Save and continue: Confirm changes and proceed to video compositing.
  • Abort this task: Discard changes and close the window.

💡 Tips:

  • If the list is long, be patient when scrolling or clicking — the program is optimized and responds quickly.
  • If a text box is cleared or dubbing duration shows 0s, that dubbing will be skipped during compositing.
