Errors like the above usually occur during the dubbing stage, and the dubbing channel used is “edgeTTS”, which is a TTS service API from Microsoft used for the loud reading function of the Edge browser. It’s free to use, but it seems to have new rate-limiting measures recently. A large number of requests from the same IP in a short period of time will trigger a 403 interception, causing errors.

How to solve it?

First: Check for the latest patch package. If there is one, download and install it first, then test if the problem is solved.

Second: If you know what a proxy/VPN is, use it and fill in the HTTP proxy address in the “Network Proxy” text box.

Third: As shown below, click “Dubbing Channel”, and in the pop-up box, change the concurrency to 1 and the pause to 5 to reduce errors by slowing down the dubbing speed.

Fourth: If none of the above methods work, you can switch to other dubbing channels.

For example, free dubbing services include “GPT-SoVITS”, “ChatTTS”, “F5-TTS”, “CosyVoice”, etc. You can deploy the corresponding project locally, and the settings box will have corresponding tutorial links.

Or use paid online APIs, such as 302.AI, ByteDance Volcano Speech Synthesis, OpenAI-TTS, etc.

For stability, commercial APIs are the best choice. Unless your computer has powerful performance, you can also use local translation.
