Integrate Minimaxi for Subtitle Translation and Dubbing ​

After the v3.98 patch, Minimaxi's text-to-speech and subtitle translation have been built-in.

Note: Accounts and balances for domestic and international versions are not interchangeable

Integrate Subtitle Translation ​

Setup method is the same as above

  1. Open Menu -- Translation Settings -- Minimax AI
  2. For domestic users, enter https://api.minimaxi.com/v1 in the API field. For overseas users, enter https://api.minimax.io/v1. Note that although both are Minimaxi, one is the domestic site (https://www.minimaxi.com/) and the other is the international site (https://www.minimax.io/). Their accounts, API keys, balances, etc., are not shared.
  3. In the SK field, enter the interface key. You can create one at this address: https://platform.minimaxi.com/user-center/basic-information/interface-key
  4. On the main interface, select Minimax AI in the translation channel section.

Integrate Dubbing ​

  1. Open the software Menu -- TTS Settings -- Minimaxi API
  2. For domestic users, select api.minimaxi.com in the API. If you want to use Minimaxi's international service, select api.minimax.io. Note that although both are Minimaxi, one is the domestic site (https://www.minimaxi.com/audio) and the other is the international site (https://www.minimax.io/audio). Their accounts, API keys, balances, etc., are not shared.
  3. In the SK field, enter the interface key. You can create one at this address: https://platform.minimaxi.com/user-center/basic-information/interface-key

Speaking Emotion Selection ​

Minimaxi supports 7 emotions: Happy, Sad, Angry, Fearful, Disgusted, Surprised, Neutral. However, tests show they don't differ much. If needed, you can configure them in this interface.

Finally, unless you have an enterprise account with Minimaxi and a high tier, you may frequently encounter rate limit errors. Set a longer pause time in the advanced options -- pause after dubbing.

Attention for Domestic Users

You need to complete real-name authentication with your bank card number and reserved bank mobile phone number. If you haven't passed real-name authentication, tests may fail.

Additionally, when using this method, open Menu -- Tools/Options -- Advanced Options -- Dubbing Adjustments -- Set the simultaneous dubbing count to 1, and the pause time after dubbing to a value greater than 25. Otherwise, you might fail due to frequency limits. Regular users are only allowed 3 requests per minute, i.e., once every 20 seconds.
