Network Proxy Address
As shown in the image above, there is a Network Proxy Address text box in the main interface of the software. This is used to fill in the network proxy address to access services that cannot be used directly in China, such as Google Translate and OpenAI.
Here, you need to fill in a proxy address in the format of http://127.0.0.1:10809. Unless you have already enabled proxy service on your local machine, please do not fill in anything randomly, otherwise it will not only be useless but also lead to the unavailability of domestic services that were originally available.
For example, although Google Translate is easy to use, it is well known that it requires access to the internet outside of China to use it smoothly in China. Of course, the author has specially set up a "FreeGoogle" translation channel that can be used without any special means, but this is based on cloudflare, and some operators or regions in China may still not be able to use it smoothly, and may still require access to the internet outside of China.
If you don't know what accessing the internet outside of China means, and you cannot open the https://Google.com website in your browser, please search for methods to access the internet outside of China yourself. Here, we only talk about how to fill in the corresponding network proxy address into the software.
Suppose you are using the v2ray tool, it has been started on your local machine, and you can access the https://google.com website in your browser. Then you only need to fill in http://127.0.0.1:10809 in the "Network Proxy Address" text box.
As shown in the image above, the default network proxy address for the v2ray tool is http://127.0.0.1:10809
Suppose you are using the clash tool, it has been started on your local machine, and you can access the https://google.com website in your browser. Then you only need to fill in http://127.0.0.1:7890 in the "Network Proxy Address" text box.

As shown in the image above, after filling it in, you can select the "Google" translation channel. When you want to use domestic translations such as Baidu and Tencent, just delete the content in the network proxy address text box.
Please note that if you do not know how to access the internet outside of China, and have not started any tools, and cannot open the https://Google.com website in your browser, do not fill in anything in the "Network Proxy Address" text box. You must delete it. Then use domestic translation channels, such as Baidu Translate and Tencent Translate. See the tutorial below for how to use them.
