Separate Vocals and Background Sounds

The software includes a simple tool for separating vocals and background sounds. For smaller videos, this tool can be used to separate human speech and background sounds into two files.

Click Menu -- Tools/Options -- Vocal and Background Sound Separation to open the interface shown below.

Click "Select Audio/Video File" to select the audio/video file you want to separate, then click the "Start Separation" button to begin the separation process. Note that the separation process is slow and time-consuming. If your video is large, consider using a dedicated vocal and background sound separation tool.
