Batch Merge Videos and SRT Subtitles

Just like batch merging videos and audio, you can also batch embed subtitles into their corresponding videos. For example, if you have 20 videos, each with a corresponding SRT subtitle file, this function allows you to embed the 20 SRT files into the 20 videos at once.

How to Use

  1. Create a folder and move the videos and SRT subtitle files that need to be merged into this folder.

  2. The names of the videos and subtitles to be merged must be the same (without the extension), and the program uses this to determine which SRT subtitle is embedded in which video.

Suppose the complete name of the video is 001.mp4, and the name without the extension is 001, then the name of the SRT subtitle file to be embedded in this video must be 001.srt.

During processing, the software gets 001.mp4, removes the extension to get 001, and searches the folder for 001.srt. If found, it embeds the subtitle file into the video 001.mp4.

  1. Select the folder in the software interface.

  2. By default, subtitles are embedded as hard subtitles. If "Embed soft subtitles" is selected, they will be embedded as soft subtitles. For soft subtitles, you need to select the subtitle language, otherwise it may be garbled. Also note that soft subtitles require support from the video player; some domestic players may not be able to display them or may display garbled characters.
